Which marketing method should you choose to grow your business?

Whether you want to sell your products, programs or services, or you just want to be known—- which type of marketing medium should you choose to grow your business?  Well, it can get quite confusing with all the different types of marketing methods to choose from. I mean there is  youtube marketing, email, social media, blogging, webinars, teleseminars, direct mail, and so much more.  You have all these gurus telling you to do all of this and all of that, and you just don’t know what to do.   So, let me help you!

 

I would say choose one marketing method at a time and choose the one that resonates with you the most. Maybe you are a master at working the camera and you get so many sales from YouTube.  Or maybe you are a great writer and you blog, and you can blog every day. You will get clients through blogging and writing.   So, I want to share a story with you and I hope it inspires you to choose a marketing method that resonates with you.

 

When I first started my business, the marketing method I chose was networking.   However, I really felt , networking was giving me the results I wanted, but it was at such a slow pace.  I was living in Las Vegas, Nevada at the time and I was trying to build a name for myself,  it gradually increased to social media marketing.  Most people got to know me through my social media posts.  Fast Forward to today, most of my clients come to me today through YouTube Videos.

I offer value on YouTube. And most of the time, people will either sign up for my newsletter or purchase my product after they watched my video.

Now, I am not saying you will be a YouTube sensation. What I am trying to get across to you is that you have to choose just one medium that resonates with you , that feels authentic, that doesn’t feel like you are being forced to do it.  Maybe webinars are your thing, maybe teleseminars are your thing, or maybe going out and being a social butterfly; networking is your thing.  So, what I encourage you to do is choose that one marketing method and master it for  3, 6, 9,  even 12 months.  When you start seeing results, then you can go on and keep optimizing that method, then move on to the next method.

At the end of the day, whether you are email marketing, video marketing, social media— if you are consistent enough, you are going to get more clients and more sales.  Yes, some may work better than the others. As for me, YouTube has worked better than all the other mediums.  So, my request to you is choose one marketing medium that you want to start marketing your business with today and tell me in the comment box below.
